Privacy policy

1. Who we are

MORE Youth is a UK Christian youth revival movement. This policy explains how we handle your personal data across our website, app, gatherings and communications. We are the data controller for the information you give us. Contact us any time at admin@moreyouth.org.

2. What we collect

Account details (your name, email, and optionally a phone number and profile photo), anything you add to your profile, event RSVPs and check-ins, serving-rota assignments, and the community posts, prayer requests and messages you share on the platform. We also collect basic technical information needed to run the service securely.

3. Why we collect it

To create and run your account, to organise gatherings (RSVPs, capacity, check-in), to coordinate serving teams, to power the community feed, prayer wall and messaging, and to send you emails about things you have chosen to receive (such as event reminders you've RSVP'd to).

4. Our legal basis

Under UK GDPR we rely on: your consent (e.g. optional communications), our legitimate interests (running the community and keeping it safe), and, where relevant, performing a service you've asked for. You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Giving

Donations and payments are processed securely by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe under their own PCI-compliant systems — we never see or store your card information.

6. Safeguarding

We work with children and young people. Please see our Safeguarding page. Leaders and volunteers who work with young people are DBS-checked, and content or messages may be reviewed by a safeguarding lead where a concern is raised.

7. Who we share it with

Trusted service providers who help us run the platform: Supabase (secure database & hosting), Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (email delivery). Instagram content shown in the community feed is fetched via Behold. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.

8. Cookies

We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to run the site. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

9. How long we keep it

Your account is kept until you ask us to delete it. Event and activity records are kept only as long as needed to run the movement. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

10. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email admin@moreyouth.org and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
