MORE Youth is committed to the safety and wellbeing of every child, young person and adult at risk who takes part in our gatherings, online spaces and activities. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and it is a priority for us.
We aim to provide a caring, positive and secure environment. Our team follows a clear code of conduct, young people are appropriately supervised at gatherings, and we take a zero-tolerance approach to any form of abuse, bullying, harassment or neglect.
Leaders and volunteers who work with children and young people are recruited safely, DBS-checked where required, and expected to uphold our safeguarding standards. Concerns about a team member are taken as seriously as any other.
On our platform, community posts are visible to the wider MORE Youth family and can be removed by a leader at any time. Please treat one another with honour, never share another person's private details, and report anything that worries you to a leader or our safeguarding lead.
If you are under 18, we encourage you to let a parent or guardian know you're involved with MORE Youth. Parents and guardians are welcome to contact us with any questions about how their young person takes part.
